Bible Bedtime Stories – The Talents

As we celebrate another New Year we can’t help wondering what is in store for us in the coming weeks and months! We know that many days will bring unexpected appointments or invitations – some exciting, but some we are not so enthusiastic about! But it is good to remember that our Heavenly Father already knows what each and every day will hold for us – and that actually each one is just a new opportunity for us to “let our light shine for Jesus!” Some opportunities will be fun, while others will be challenging – and yet with them all can also come whispers of fear, doubt or worry. This month’s story, based on the Parable of the Talents, is a good reminder that we should not listen to those whispers, but instead focus on the fact that God is with us and wants to guide us through every new opportunity. May the year ahead for you be filled with new opportunities to grow in faith, understand more about the Lord, and share His Good News with others!
