This detailed course consists of 15 lessons with a final test (if a certificate is required), and many other useful resources for children's ministry. Each lesson is sent online via e-mail, or can be sent by airmail if preferred. A certificate is awarded upon completion. This comprehensive guide to children’s ministry represents the culmination of many years of teaching both children, and those who have a desire to teach children the Word of God and to faithfully and effectively serve Jesus Christ as Lord. It is specifically designed for those called to children’s ministry in places where there is very little understanding or support for children’s ministry, and often very few resources available. Topics include:

1. The need and vision for children's ministry.

2. Confronting the reality and commonly encountered problems.

3. Four steps important in every lesson.

4. Children's ministry tools such as skits, puppets, activities and bible games.

5. Forming a strong ministry team and developing a fruitful children's ministry.

Note: This correspondence course is only available in English, but we have a similar training manual published in Spanish and available while stocks last.

We also now have available to download free of charge dozens of other resources that can help develop a dynamic youth or children's ministry; or provide simple, helpful scripture portions and other teachings for individuals or churches, especially in areas where Christian resources are difficult to obtain. They include puzzle pages and fun activities using the Bible; skits for puppets or children; innovative teaching ideas and complete lessons; true testimonies, encouraging stories and lots more. This is an example of a great puzzle page that requires looking up bible references to follow a treasure map. We have found that both children and youth alike can learn more about their bible and become more familiar with the various books of the Bible by playing games and activities like this (either individually or in teams). Through the years we have developed a number of exciting different activities using simple basic principles that can be applied in many different ways to continually develop new games. Note: Many resources are now also available in Spanish, French or other languages.
