About us
This ministry was founded in 1991 by Gerald and Shirley Davis, and although it may not have grown much in the conventional sense, the Lord has connected us to other faithful believers all around the world, and truly accomplished great things and blessed thousands of people.

Children's ministry
"Joy with Jesus" children's ministry has grown over the past 25 years or so and has lead to the development of numerous dynamic teaching resources and international training of children's ministers.

Kenya
Our ministry in Kenya started in January 2005, but since our visit there in October 2006 God has greatly blessed it so that it involves several types of ministry, and reaches people in many new areas.

Uganda
During 2007 we started corresponding with several ministries in Uganda that focus on sharing the Gospel with children. This very poor nation has many needs and often children's ministry is totally overlooked. We are excited to be working with people who have a vision to change this.

West Africa
In 2007 we began to work with Pastor Sika Yawo and his Prisons and Orphanages Ministry based in the small country of Togo, and we are excited as God enables us to work together and develop ministry resources now also in French.

India
In June 2007 we started working with a newly developing children's ministry in an area of SE India covered with mountainous jungle, where there was almost no ministry to children at all. Since then we have begun to work with several other children's ministries in different areas of India.

Pakistan
We became involved with Pastor S of Children's Chapel ministries based in Lahore, in late 2007. He is a friend of Pastor H in India, and was very excited to receive our children's ministry resources to use with his many children's groups around the Punjab area of Pakistan.

The Joseph Project in Togo
This is a newly formed pilot project to help local villagers solve their own problems (namely take care of orphans) and improve their general situation by introducing better methods of hygiene, sanitation and farming, and eventually develop a self-sustaining children’s home in Sika-Kondji, Togo, West Africa.

Cross-cultural ministry
Even if we never actually step outside our own country, there are ample opportunities today to become involved in cross-cultural ministry - through letter-writing, the Internet and meeting foreign visitors. Here are some thoughts and true stories that may be of help as you step outside your own culture!
